As scorching temperatures grip Morocco, the nation's dam reserves are dwindling at an alarming rate. Official data from the Directorate of Water Engineering reveals that the country's nine main river basin systems currently hold a combined 5.93 billion cubic meters of water – representing only 35.39% of their total capacity as of Sunday. This sharp decline in storage levels raises serious concerns about worsening chronic water stress across the country.
